Alicia Hooper’s passion for beauty and design ignited in the early 1990s, when she first fell in love with the art of floral arrangements. What began as a personal desire to style her own home soon blossomed into an unstoppable creative force that would shape an entire career in luxury event design.
As her talents became known throughout the community, demand for her work grew rapidly. In the early 2000s, Alicia expanded her expertise into balloon décor, enrolling in her first design course and ultimately earning advanced certifications — including specialized training in ceiling draping and fabric design.
In 2016, Alicia elevated her professional standing by enrolling in the prestigious Global IWED program, earning her accreditation as a Certified Event Designer — a distinction that reflects her lifelong commitment to mastering the craft.
Throughout her career, Alicia has generously mentored fellow event designers and team members, sharing the same passion and dedication that drove her own journey. Today, she leads A Beautiful Occasion LLC with the heart of an artist and the precision of a professional — transforming each client’s vision into a breathtaking, unforgettable experience.
